The land cover layer is used in the management of watershed-based planning by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA). The layer was created by using the best available land cover data from LSRCA and MNR. This layer was created using air photo interpretation of 2023 Orthophotography.
Data was captured by heads up digitizing and air photo interpretation at a scale of 1:1500. Methodology document can be found at
